- I just put a "Please see" on the talk pages of 3 editors at Spanish WP. That's cool! The trick is to use :en:. Interestingly I was denied edit access to 3 talk pages. I don't speak Spanish, but the message said something about permissionorriooo or some such. I hope those edits count here on :en: - I'm trying to get to my 1000th edit. - Only 2 of the 3 paragraphs are about the band. The third is about Mexico's new wave of indie musicians of which Los Dynamite is one. Their only album is available ONLY via Myspace and local shops in Mexico City. Are the Spanish sources mainstream? I do not think they would pass muster at RS/N, especially since the Spanish version of this article was deleted on that wiki. Keeping this article sets the bar for inclusion of bands very low. - Keep. La Cronica De Hoy is apparently a major paper in Mexico City; I found a note in Americas Review indicating it is one of the "most influential" Spanish-language dailies in the region. As such the two articles from it, supported by the New York Times reference, are enough to establish notability. On top of this the album was released by Noiselab, described by The New York Times as "Mexico City's top indie label". I think it's just the English Wikipedia's systemic bias against non-English sources and topics that makes this appear less notable.--Cúchullain t/c 13:35, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
